FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

You can find answers to the most frequently asked questions here.

Who are the tutors?

Our tutors come from a variety of backgrounds, including former and current teachers, professionals from a wide variety of disciplines, and others who may have specific expertise in the subject area. The two things they all have in common are that they are experts in their respective academic subjects.

Do you follow the National Curriculum?

Yes, our tutoring is aligned with the national curriculum. It also includes many extra resources developed by experienced classroom teachers.

How long is each session?

Each session varies from 60 - 90 minute, to ensure we give your child our full time and dedication.

What is the ratio of children to tutors?

At A Class Tutors we work on a student-tutor ratio of five to one. This means that one tutor works with a maximum of five students. Each student is working on his/her own individual programme. We feel that this creates a good balance of support for the children whilst encouraging them to work independently to help gain confidence back in the classroom.
